Sohaib Thiab – The Story of an Internet Entrepreneur

Been a while since my last post, but I’ve got an excuse this time, I got back from Taiwan a a couple of days ago, I went there for 7 days for the GlobalTIC Talentrepreneur Award & Forum, it was lots of fun although the weather was a bit humid and hot, but its a nice country to visit, I sticked in Taipei (the capital) most of the time, but I did head north with a couple of friends on the 5th day.

The experience was amazing, participating in an international event, i met lots of interesting people, networked with others, overall it was an excellent experience.

On the 3rd day me and my partner got a chance to present in Chunghwa Telecom wich is the biggest ICT company in Taiwan (picture below), 2 other teams who participated in the event also presented.

Such events are usually an excellent opportunity to find investors as well, if you have an idea and your looking for someone to invest in it, you have to attend such events, GlobalTIC is one of the best opportunities for this, the organization of the event was excellent, and they also cover your living and travel expenses (1 travel and living expenses for 2 team members)

Anyways, below are some of the pictures I took, one of the most interesting visits where the visit to Taipei 101 (former tallest building in the world, which lost its position last week to Dubai’s supertall skyscraper “Alburj“)
