Writing a Press Release
I’ve spent some time today writing a press release for THB to announce the launch of the upcoming contest, its almost done now, I just need to edit the name of the sponsor’s whom I have contacted today as well, I need to make sure everyone is on board before I announce it on the forum and before submitting the press release.
I will be using prleap’s distribution service to distribute the press release, I’ve heard good things about them, and they are cheaper than other press release distribution services.
Hopefully this contest will jump start the forum activity once again, and hopefully refer more active members, I haven’t had much time lately to encourage the new members to continue posting, I think I should look for a moderator to help me manage the forums.
I am also going to write a press release soon to announce the launch of pagerankincrease.com, I am still writing the websites content along with some related articles, once all of that is done I will submit the press release, and possible advertise the website on some forums.
Press releases are a good way to get back links, and with a bit of luck you might draw someone’s attention to your website, drive in some quality traffic as well, a well written press release is the key.
