I’ve started playing around with PS today, I think I might do well designing websites, I usually start off with DW or FP right away when desinging a site, which isnt a very good idea if your looking for quality, thats why I usually hire someone when I need a professional design anyways, I’ve started looking at some PS tutorial websites, tried one of those tutorials out, it wasn’t as easy as I expected, especially that were talking about a button , but it should get easier once I get the hang around the various PS tools and options.

Designing needs a good imagination, in my opinion imagination could come with practice, and how would you know that you don’t have the imagination if you didn’t try ?

Well I’ve been looking around for a good logo designer for a new website that I am planning to start, I am also looking to make a corporate looking logo for my father consultancy firm, anyways, during my search I remember an excellent logo/graphic designer that was posting on talkhomebusiness, eagleimagery.co.uk I have to say that his logo’s are very impressive, I was looking to spend around $100 per logo, but his price was well over that figure, to my disappointment.

I then remembered that my cousin designs logo’s as well, so I got in touch with him, hopefully we will reach an agreement on the two logo’s.

I find myself writing this again, that eagle guy is one hell of a designer, I yet have to see someone designing in his quality, he actually does what can be considered a corporate identity, that explains his high price I guess. I might get a logo from him eventually.

MyspaceLobby.com is my newest venture, the website provides free online flash games, I have partnered with Imad from Darwix on this website, things are going great so far, we currently uploaded  600+ games and were working on adding more each day.

The website is doing great traffic wise, it received more than 500 unique’s and it hasn’t been up for more than 10 days.

Well, I guess that’s it for now, and its time for some heli attack 3

I am not that happy with the last PR update, I was hoping for more! here are the final results:

As you can see, 3 websites went up, and 3 websites went down, and 1 staid the same, I’ll have to work harder on link building in the next few months to get all sites a higher PR, I will also be opening pagerankincrease.com soon, which I will work hard on the most to get it a decent PR with the next update (will take around 3 other months) I hope I find the time!

I am getting a new custom made design for premiushosting.com, its about time that I did this, the site deserves a custom made design, I’ve been offering web hosting for more than 14 months from that site so its definitely the time to let go using templates, don’t get me wrong, I have nothing against using templates, I always use them on my new sites, especially when I cant afford getting a custom design for it

A good design would usually cost between $400 to $600 for 3 coded pages, a very good friend of mine is going to be making this new design, and its coming out great, I’ll share a preview with you guys soon

I’ve decided that it’s time to add another 512MB ram to Cheetah! thats the main server at premiushosting.com, I got some new signups there in the last couple of weeks, and the memory usage was high most of the time, so I thought that throwing a  512MB ram wasn’t a bad idea.

Installing the extra ram went smoothly, server was back up and running in no time, memory usage was still a bit higher than I expected but its better than before, I am going to keep an eye on it in the next few days!

I am considering buying a video game script that enables me to have my own funny video site, I’ve been thinking about this for quite some time now, the original price of the script is $1000, but the owner dropped the price to $150 as an initial payment and then pay him $50 per month, which has made me consider getting the script.

I also need to think of a good domain name for such a site. Any suggestions?

Well, I am back from a 6 day trip to Bahrain, those 6 days were very tiresome, I attended a training course organized by UNIDO (United Nations Industrial Development Organization) for the development of entrepreneurs in the region, so it was pretty much about business planning and getting financing etc. The schedule was pretty much full, we attended presentations and consultations for 12 hours per day, which had lots of useful information.

We were 17 guys from 8 different countries, each from a different technical background, which made the networking with other entrepreneurs one of the most useful aspects about this trip.
